It wasw really nice to get to see those people since I almost never get to see them at all. I got to listen to Katie and David play their guitars. They sounded so good. It was nice to listen. Miss Pat's cooking was fabulous as usual. I just had fun.

Pageants, Christmas Parties, Songs, and The Chronicles of Narnia

I had the busiest weekend ever last weekend.....I also had a lot of fun last weekend. I had a rehearsal for our churches Christmas Pageant, then we performed it twice..once on Saturday and once on Sunday. It was pretty fun. It was set to be like an old black and white movie. Pictures of the cast will be posted later. (I pormise I will post them as soon as I get a hold of them) On Friday and Saturday since my parents had catering jobs and since we finshed our pageants related activities sooner than my parents finshed their catering jobs, I got to go to my best friends house and hang out with her. We watched movies and played games. To make a long story short, we just had tons of fun. The best movie we watched was Ella Enchanted. That movie is so awesome. It is quite funny too. On Saturday I saw the best movie ever made. I saw The Chronicles Of Narnia. It was awesome!!!! It followed the book exactly. My youth pastor took fifteen kids in our youth group to go see it.
I finished writing the Song I Will Sing. Now I am working on some other stuff for my CD and music video. I will post more details about this later.
I am so happy right now...The Tammy is town!
Our youth group is having a white elephant gift exchange. It is going to be so awesome. I will post pics if I can. I hope I don't get a gag gift! Also please pray that I finish my holiday shopping before Christmas Eve. I do not want to wait in long lines this year!
I cannot wait for Sunday.. I get to hang out with my mentor, Angela. We just generally watch movies and have a lot of fun.
Is anybody going to the Camp Charis Christmas? It on Friday and Saturday if anyone wants to go. I know I am going, but I am not sure which day I am going yet.
Okay, I am going to end this post since has pretty much been me rambling.

Schoolwork, Rehearsals, Soldout, Recitals, and Songs

The last week has been really busy for me................I have barely had time to catch my breath. I had a recital on Saturday, (I did better than I expected) I had youth choir practice on Sunday. I had to help my parents with a catering job on Monday, I had music lessons on Tuesday, and Church Wednesday. Talk about swamped!
However, I have still found time to work on my songs. they are coming along pretty good. I have almost finished I Will Sing, which was inspired by someone's blog posting. It is almost done. I can't seem to get the guitar part just right. (That part is getting pretty frustrating) I have been practicing flute for my concert on monday. It is coming along great. Piano is going so awesome. I am still doing short pieces ( as in less than a page long Grrr) I will just have to be patient. Hopefully my teacher will assign me the pieces I want to learn someday.
I am really execited about Christmas. As a matter of fact, I am pumped!!!!!! Yahoo, the holiday season is here! Tis the season to be jolly Fa la la la la la la la la la la la la la la! (Forget the rest) lol! I think I will go to my grandma's the thursday before Christmas and come back on Saturday. (Not quite sure about the plan but that is one of the possible outcomes It is actually undecided where my family is going for Christmas. They will make up their mind at some point) I am excited about our Chirstmas Pageant. It is on Saturday and Sunday. Should any of you want to come hear my lovely flute playing, feel free to post a comment. I hope you have a have a holly jolly Christmas and a very happy, excellent, fun, awesome new year.

I wanna give you guys an update on the whole church thing. I have good news. The guy I wronged came to church on wednesday night. I was so happy. It was a HUGE answer to prayer. I literally felt like jumping for joy. I was meditating on Matthew 7:1-7: 1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. 6"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces. My youth pastor preached about this passage. When he read this passage aloud, I felt god tugging on my heart telling me to watch I judge other people. So guys, if I judge anyone in a way that I should not...... let me know.

Thanksgiving, Family, and Coldstone Icecream

Thanksgiving was soooooooooooo awesome. I managed to keep myself from overeating. (usually that is pretty hard to do) The food was great. I got to sleep in to about ten o'clock. (yay) I learned how to knit. It is pretty fun. I played games on the Internet. In general, I had lots of fun. My Grandma and Grandfather came in town. They are pretty cool people. Whenever my grandma is around, there is never a dull moment. You just jave to meet her to see what I mean. My grandparents(the ones on my dad's side of the family) came in to town on Tuesday. They had dinner with us and stayed until Thursday night. Wednesday morning I got to go shopping with my grandmother. It was fun and I got to have some one-on-one time with my grandmother. W came home and stayed awhile. Then around 6:oo P.M. my whole family went out for dinner to La Fiesta.(yummy!) then we went to Coldstone Creamery for dessert. After that, everyone went to bed. I then tok my final exam for english for this semester and did next week's work. We had lots of fun.

Oh and by the way, here is an update on the little problem I posted about. It's written in red should you not understand what I am talking about. Here is an update:

You all know about what happened. (If not, check out my previous post for more information) It turns out that after three days of frantically searching for this guy's number, I managed to get it from someone at my church. I even woke up early the day after all this junk happened to try to get him before he went off to school. That did not work out though. Disappointed, I went back to bed. Well it turns out the Saturday after all this junk happened, I managed to leave a message at his house with his mom to call me. I did not like doing that, but it was the only thing I could do at the time. I did not think he would call my house. Surprisingly, he did. He actually said he would come to church the next time we had something on Wednesday night or Sunday night. I really hope that will happen.

A VIP Prayer Request

O.k., Guys this post is going to be really short because I am not doing schoolwork I need to be doing, so here goes. Last night, about 10 minutes before I want on stage for band, I said something to a person that has been visiting our church that I should not have. I feel so horrible! UGH! My brother told my mom and she rattled on and on about the power of words and such and such. I already knew what she was going to say that so I just sat there and looked at the ceiling. Because of my stupidity and ruthless actions that guy I hurt with my words might not ever go to church again and he may be eternally separated from God. My mom says I am grounded for this but whatever. I don't give a flip. I just wanna do whatever it takes to make things right with this guy. Even if it costs me my privileges and a happy holiday season. I am willing to pay the price it takes to get things right with this guy. Please pray that Lord's will be done and that this guy will forgive me if it is God's will. Please pray that my parents will be understanding about this and so harsh about it either. Yes, I admit I really messed up. But as my brother in christ told me last night (you know who you are), it is forgivable. Does anybody know any scripture that might help in this situation? If you do please tell me.

My Secret Abiltiy (It Aint a Secret Anymore)

artistry
Elemental artistry is your specialty. You are a naturally artistic person. You can draw,
dance, sing, play instruments, anything that
pretains to art. Multi-talented is your middle
name, or perhaps it is your first. You love
being creative in everything you do. You are a
very balanced person, and in tune with your
surroundings. You love natural settings, and as
a matter-of-fact, that is where you work best.
You don't really like the raucous crowds of the
city, and would rather be somewhere rural once
in awhile. Whenever you become creative, the
elements would be more than welcome to bend to
you. You are one with the elements and they are
one with you. Whenever you dance, the waters
rise. Whenever you paint, nature rearranges
herself into your best composition. It's still
a mystery as to why nature cherishes you so,
and perhaps that's what makes you so unique.

Everyone has a secret ability. What is yours? (7 answers with pics)
brought to you by :
Quizilla
play around on quizilla .com. That is the best quiz site ever! Take my word for it! Go check it out for yourself. Now you all know what my secret ability is. It is no secret anymore, that is for sure. That picture sure does look a little like me don't ya think? I mean I am definitely short and I do have long medium brown hair. Funny how that was my result. Would you please take the quiz at least once. I guarantee you will like it.

A Lock-in and A Song

Dang! It has been so long since I have posted. I am not really sure what their is to write about. I have been working on a music video. It is coming along great. I finally finished writing the title track. It is called Cast Your Burdens. I shall post more about this song later. But let me tell you something else that is even better.
I got to go to a Lock-in at Fun Station with my youth group. It was so awesome! I had a lot of fun even though I am very sleepy. We went back to the church at about 5:30 in the morning. I don't know how I managed to stay up........I just know I did. I had to sleep at the church for a couple hours because I had an appointment at 9:30...ugh I hate hard floors. They make my body so darned sore! At about 12:00, I finally got to go home. I ate lunch then I snoozed until about 3:00. I have been doing nothing but surfing the Internet.
I cannot wait for Sunday. Our youth choir is going to sing in both services. I am soooooooooo excited. Please pray that we will do well.

Redtide, College Kids and the Beach

I am on my way back from the annual beach trip with our college kids. The weekend was pretty good. I got to help out with some of the games. the only terrible thing was the redtide. (Did you know redtide even affects the air?) Everytime anyone went outside, their throats would itch and they'd cough and cough. It even makes your eyes water and your nose burn. It is enough to drive you crazy. The speaker was great, though. He was so awesome and so funny. His messages were so true. The music was great. In a nutshell, this weekend has been great so far.

Life is Even Greater

My Life just continues to rock on even more! I had a great weekend at the SLT PowerBlast. We played games learned about the Bible, and just generally had fun. I made a new friend, Faith. She lives near camp.. She is really nice, cool, and sweet. She is great critique, too. We generally hung out all of the time while we were there.

I went to youth choir last night, which was really cool. We played musical chairs when we finished working on stuff for our performances. You might say that game is for pre-schoolers, but hey, it is good way to laugh and have fun. I also had band practice yesterday. It was great. The only negative thing that happened was the A.J. kept driving me crazy. (UGH!)

I am working on a script for my video. More details later.

Life is Great

My life is going great right now. I am writing songs and I am on my youth group's praise band. Tomorrow I will not be doing any school because I finished my work for this week early. I get to go to Camp Charis and spend the whole weekend there. I am going to this retreat called the SLT PowerBlast! It will be so much fun! Yay! I am basically going to do absolutley nothing until four-thirty tomorrow. I finally won't be so busy for a change. Yahoo!
